# Every Pritzker Architecture Prize laureate (1979–2025)

The Pritzker, often called the "Nobel of architecture", has been awarded since 1979 to a living architect (or team). From Philip Johnson to Liu Jiakun in 2025, by way of Luis Barragán, Zaha Hadid, Rafael Moneo, RCR Arquitectes and Alejandro Aravena: every laureate with their country. Japan, with eight prizes, is among the countries with the most laureates.
