# Akutagawa Prize winners (150th to 172nd)

The Akutagawa Prize for new literary fiction is awarded twice a year. From Hiroko Oyamada's The Hole (150th) through Naoki Matayoshi's Spark, Sayaka Murata's Convenience Store Woman and Saō Ichikawa's Hunchback to José Andō and Yūki Suzuki at the 172nd: every winner since the second half of 2013. No prize was given at the 173rd (first half of 2025).
