# Every UNESCO World Heritage Site in Austria

Austria has twelve World Heritage Sites, from Salzburg's old town and Schönbrunn (both 1996) to the Great Spa Towns of Europe and the Danube Limes (2021). Here they all are in order of inscription, with their state and a short description. Five are shared with other countries, and the historic centre of Vienna has been on the List of World Heritage in Danger since 2017.
